one of my favorite appetizers is beef tartare i often make it at home, and it's perfect with a glass of wine. (this isn't an original recipe, but one adapted to my taste.) recipe for tartare (photos of the dish are below in the comments): ingredients: cut the beef tenderloin into small cubes (0.5 cm) mash the capers with a knife on a board, chop as finely as possible cut the red onion into very small cubes (0.15-0.2 cm) take a little pickled jalapeno peppers and chop finely (there should be a little of it, it is for taste and a little spiciness) preparation: mix all the ingredients on a plate. add olive oil, a little soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. mix everything well. slice a baguette into thin pieces, brush with olive oil, and bake in the oven to make croutons. i like them crispy on top but soft inside.
