Its pretty much the same issue with startups and funding deals with astronomical valuations and no profits. Get this: the same way teams then use these tokens to subsidize activity on the chain to boost metrics, is the same deal with traditional organizations that give their customers financing to generate sales of their products. We're all just conjuring equity out of thin air and doing financial engineering to get by.
