hey, how do we stop accusing young women existing on the internet of being spam? @amyy19 is human!!! why do so many users get put in the spam box? I was considered spam for like 4 months, how does that happen ?

I think if you spend enough time on a social app/protocol like Farcaster that is dominated by spam, you start to automatically assume just about everyone is up to no good. That’s what happened with me at least.

This is something we think about a lot. No one wants real people getting flagged as spam, definitely not the goal. The spam filters are mostly automated and try to catch bots/scammers, but sometimes real users get caught by mistake (especially new accounts or if behavior looks unusual to the system) If anyone ever gets stuck in the spam box, DM or tag me, can usually help get it sorted faster. Also always open to feedback on how to improve this (it’s not perfect yet, but we’re working on it)

It's unfortunate that many scammers and spammers exploit female personas, and real women are treated as sus as a result. Models shouldn't have gender biases, but people often do. Remember the selfie fiasco last year? @amyy19 has a very good neynar score, by the way. 0.81 is above all the cutoffs that I know of and well into the "good user" range.
