Undecided if I'll hit publish. Represents my current thinking on Zora without going into the heady attention market stuff. Also I'm referencing Zora here but its from conversations with many of the platforms.

NFTs do not have PMF.

Coins do.

Isn't each post on zora just a 1:1, where you mint your own copy of the exact same image as everyone else? So it's not like it was actually using any of the non-fungible properties of erc-721s.

Seems fine to me to experiment with coins for that use case, but seems distinctly different than Cryptopunks, Pudgies, Chonks, etc., especially if you can own the IP to the actual NFT you hold in some fashion.

Yesterday's NFT volume was $5M.

Token volume was $132B.

26,400x higher.

Please keep telling me how NFTs have PMF though.

True, but that doesn't mean NFTs don't have value. The best NFTs are meant to be held for the long term and not constantly traded back and forth.

The market for them is clearly smaller than the market for memecoins at this point thats definitely obvious

Respectfully to all NFT stans, I think their inability to show any metric that demonstrates some semblance of PMF says a lot.

Market cap for Cryptopunks is 850m, pudgies is 195m, miladies is 83m

Sure the long tail has no pmf
