retrospect

This nice guy without shoelaces will lose his father in a couple of years (shot in 1937 according to the Stalin list), the mother, who is depicted in the picture with her son, will go to ALGERIA. 
Upon his mother's return from the camp, his son will write one of the most poignant stories about meeting her, "The Girl of My Dreams." 
The story is very strong and psychologically accurate. 
Two years later, the mother will be arrested again and sent to an eternal settlement.
