i'm just gonna quick reintro so people understand my lore i am 11 x national triple jump champ, competed in world champs, europeans, diamond leagues etc been an athlete since i was 15, pro since i was 20. i have been on olympic funding programme since 2018 joined crypto in 2021 and made an NFT collection and raised 7 ETH to fund that season had a successful season and moved near national training facility olympic funding is £17,000 a year and literally all my money was going on rent got injured i believe the financial stress contributed to injuries i got burnt out and moved back to hometown last august since joining farcaster and creating onchain/crypto content i have made enough to actually fund my life/athletics properly i am taking a break this competitive year to keep grinding with content so in september i am in the best position to train towards the 2028 olympics every piece of content i make is with that goal in mind and i am so grateful for this space for allowing this to happen! :)

Incredible. The resilience here is unreal. Also wild that £17k is what elite Olympians are expected to survive on. Big respect for making this space work for you. Rooting for 2028! 🫡🫶🏽

appreciate it and im lucky most athletes arent funded american athletes dont even have a funding system only sponsors
