We've been in dark times. It's a reality that must be faced. Only, when felt through to compassion, does it become the impetus for meaningful action. What if this isn't the darkness of the end, but the darkness of the womb?

Try sitting without distraction today. Just sit and breathe. Allow thoughts and feelings to come and go. When you notice you've been in thought, don't push thought away but simply return to gently surf on the sensations of breathing. Do this again, and again, gently. For a disciplined 10 minutes.
