crypto’s killer use case is doing something on one app and it applies across all of them

unfortunately that would require competing companies/startups to cooperate with one another

but in all seriousness data can just be stored at the contract/chain level and it’s up to the apps themselves to implement presentable data

like if I change the name of an NFT or change the tokenURI, it is in fact propagated across all the apps that access that token because the token itself is the source of truth. Ofc there are exceptions like projects that don’t instantly update data but yeah
