for those who are looking to burn fat this year, here are my top tips, coming from someone who's done a body recomp: - salt is a wonder drug, when you eat fast food you're really just addicted to the salt, when eating healthy food *do not forget* to add the salt back in - pickles kill your cravings for 0 calories and taste amazing - muscle building is more important than oxygen intensive activities for long term fat loss; cardio has immediate effects on fat loss, but it's not sustainable, change your diet to .7-1g per lb of your weight and focus on a repeatable training split - creatine - sleep sleep sleep - planning to do something "every day" sets you for failure. Instead focus on literally what you're doing today and right now - you must change your self image first in order to have that image be projected externally into the person you become

Also diet, but I don't need to tell you that. Or maybe I do, not sure. Get a scale and weigh your food. Don't "guesstimate", your subconscious will trick your perception of size. "This is probably just 100 calories" - it's probably 500. Weigh the fucking food.

To end this (I swear I'm done) if you lie to yourself about your behaviors and deliberately ignore self-awareness, it doesn't matter how much other people think you're working hard - if you can't work toward your goal, you won't reach peace. Look in the mirror and really ask yourself what you want. If you don't do it, then you don't actually want it, you *think* you want it. There is always a way.
