Saw Diggn’ Dirt perform again last night in Portland. Sooo good. If you’re into funk you might enjoy give’n em a listen. Thinking we might go to the show in Tahoe next weekend too. How does a band with 7 members keep it together‽ There must be a higher mortality rate for larger bands. Right‽ https://open.spotify.com/track/4eE8oY58qNnSonXWTApsqP

I saw them in Berkeley a year and a half ago and they were great (I won’t blame them for me catching Covid at the show). My friend sat in with them on saxophone so maybe local guest performers is how they maintain an acceptable mortality rate?

It's just respect for each other really because big egos are expected to be toxic,so they have might set boundaries that allowed them to continue for this long

That's cool music! I'm Japanese, and the group Checkers, one of the leading Japanese artists of the 1980s, had a falling out. Maybe we need a dominant leader that everyone can admire.
