They will never listen. The one thing that ruined this app and made everyone cool leave is channel changes. Collectively I think most people are waiting for any sort of new main client to switch. I think zapper is gonna be the move.

We spent more time working on channels than any other feature by an order of magnitude. Channels don’t drive growth. They work if the network is growing.

Heard. The mission is clear to me: grow /football by pulling in fans who’ve never even heard of Farcaster. Maybe never telling them it’s Farcaster. 🤷🏻♂️ Right now the core are diehard fans juggling fantasy leagues, group chats & betting apps. That’s the base to migrate. Real, loyal, passionate fans who crave variance & return to the same place over & over at a regular cadence ie where banter, camaraderie & money flow. Nowhere else offers that combo. Not today that I know of its largely mercenary betting apps, YouTube & fragmented group chats. And with whispers that a certain FC-based betting agent is ready to expand beyond FC… it’d be a shame if the culture slipped away before inflection point unlock achieved A significant rewards incentive & marketing support for fans that onboard the their group chats & fantasy leagues should be a no brainer for a client app to at least try. Can imagine @jesse.base.eth juggling in POIDH videos outside an LA FC match 💜⚽️

It’s intellectually dishonest otherwise. Wish it wasn’t the case -- but ultimately everything comes down to user growth. If we figure out user growth, no one has to leave. And channels will organically work. So, stay focused on user growth. :)
