Often I will be composing a cast & want to access an app to eg get its share link or a screenshot.

Try that & see how many taps it takes.

Not thinking this is a corner case. Happens all the time to me. 

Anybody else struggle with this ux?

It does but the bigger one for me is if I ever find myself trying to search for a specific cast.. I just give up. There’s tools for it, but it’s a friction point

yeah i hear that but rarely look for casts 
all in on ephemeral

I think wc web (err fc) should be the the opposite of ephemeral. The uses case that could unlock are crazy rich...
