Peas,  chives,  oregano and way too many weeds 😳 Happy to see the garden finally going but annoyed at my fall self for not tidying up more 🤦

The oregano plants are turning into absolutell monsters lol

You're probably not too late at all,  where I live we are just hitting the last frost date and can begin planting a lot of stuff outdoors. This all highly depends on location ofc,  we have a short season here :)  maybe you can but a few starts instead of planting from seed for the slower herbs

Love it, thanks for the ideas! I'm stressing about being late for this season, so I decided to move at my own speed and prepare for the next one at least. And it's nice to know I can plant something that will probably survive the winter, so there's no rush 😊

Chives, oregano and sage are basically immortal once they get established and come back every spring so if you want easy definitely plant those.  The rest depends on your climate I suppose,  it's too cold here to overwinter most plants.

Also make it easy on yourself and stay on top of the weeding,  don't be like me lol.  We have a lot of creeping buttercup and dandelions which are easy to pull when small but as they grow the roots get super deep and its a workout to yank
