According to this book, 100% (yes 100%, all of it) of the books and materials that were the opposite to Polish government were funded or distributed by CIA. Every subversive book and publication, all 100%, were funded by CIA. When you think you are so smart to escape Soviet propaganda, you just fall for propaganda on the other side.

Will have to check this out. I really enjoyed Surprise Kill Vanish which gives an overview of a lot of the CIA covert actions in the 60s. I think you’re right that propaganda is everywhere and peoples home country bias stops them from recognizing the propaganda that’s aimed at them.

Yeah, and plus many details that are covered in the book became public only in 2010's, so for many things that have been happening in the 90's or 00's or even now we'll have to wait at least 30-50 years before some of the facts will start appearing... 111 $degen
