teacher explained how major academic goal is to get basics for reading & writing in place before stating a big focus will be cursive writing to which i unwisely chuckled

never in my adult life have i gotten such a glare from another adult 😭

But mercifully they’ve decided the kids don’t have to learn capital letters in cursive? So now we’re going to get a generation of kids who write in a weird hybrid of capital/lowercase cursive?
