how does crypto left reconcile left's stance on crypto? especially the warren/gensler camp?

I don't think either Warren or Gensler align with anyone in this channel. A lot of people sling around words like socialist and communist and leftist on anyone they don't like, but that doesn't actually map onto anything they represent.

More of a lurker here than a poster but I doubt /cryptoleft identifies politically with Gensler (center-right Dem) at all, maybe a bit more so with Warren, but it’s probably just a case of “do not agree” on this issue The other day I saw a right-leaning vc posting critically about dark money in politics, so we all have our idiosyncrasies ya know

i rlly don’t understand warren’s refusal to shift her stance, crypto helps enable equal access either disregard to understand what crypto actually is, or big banks in the pocket calling shots neither a good look

Does the right or independents like 100% of the things their politicians do or prioritize? Parties are no more monolithic than the multitudes of individuals that occupy them. Any attempt to characterize them as such are designed to win arguments rather than discuss policy, problems or solutions.
