Why do people quote cast someone instead of replying to their cast, especially when the original cast was made like 10 minutes ago? 

Apart from trying to get a boost on the WC reward leaderboard, what are other legitimate reasons for doing this? I’m genuinely curious

✅ potential to show up in home feed
✅ reward points

reply =
❌ you will not show up in the following feed
❌ lower potential to show up in home feed
❌ no reward points

There is always the risk that the person you are quoting may think you are being a malicious farmer and decide to unfollow you. Important to keep this in mind

yeah people can be scared of the social implications of it

but end of the day potential social status issues are an abstract future problem, no one seeing your posts is a direct issue that everyone hates

In that case I would just cast without a quote

Anyway, it’s not that serious. I think people will learn the norms by doing. If every time you quote cast with the intent to farm and no one engages with you and Warpcast removes the incentive to do so, I bet ppl will do it less. But there’s this thing called CIB and that’s something we can’t ignore
