That outsider life:

Been coming across so many cool materials on tech, culture, philosophy etc. and I have nobody to share these with outside of my tech/crypto bubble

I feel like I started going through yet another identity crisis: too normiecore and behind on things for techies - but too crazy and not grounded enough for normies

It may sound like a “first world problem” (and it truly is) but it is slowly but steadily becoming an issue - I’m losing cozy corners irl because I have fewer and fewer common topics with irl people

I haven’t actually had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in a discussion with someone irl. It’s always on social media where I get to meet people who have that knowledge. And just like you, I’m behind on things for techies but too advanced for normies. 
It’s a real dilemma

Too reallllll. I’m beginning to feel more like a loner cos I can’t really hold the kind of conversations I want to hold because it would make me seem weird and that’s because they don’t understand what I want to talk about or have little knowledge about it.

Hahaha yes, the struggle is real! The worst part for me is you start falling out with the old friends because you can’t share this part of your life with them
