Ok I think we are fucked and even I can’t buy this level of acceleration. My movers today did everything on paper still. There are still paper businesses. This is why the tech bros and MBAs are buying them all, to eventually get rid of the people. But it takes time. 2030 too aggressive

Agreed that it’s off and with Tyler Cowen that the biggest barrier is people. I’d even say it’s naive & unimaginative. Naive to the diversity and complexity (let alone the economics) of currently “automatable” jobs that are still done by humans. And only 1/4 of white collar work? Please. Unimaginative for its lack of optimism, its inability to acknowledge that humans have a remarkable knack for inventing new problems, industries, occupations, etc. I think it’s more accurate to expect a shift in what work is done, how work is done, and who does it.

I completely agree with this, i think 10 years is too egressive too. I also feel like these numbers are just brought up with top developed countries in mind, ignoring the rate of adoption of less developed nations.
