this is some nerd shit so not sure where to share

but we just shipped the first version of Farcaster based on the React Native new architecture!

new arch has been in the works for almost 7 years (!!) and as a React Native dev this is hugely exciting for me

Dear Farcaster Team,

I would love if you would use /fc-updates or another announcement channel even more. 

I missed this cast completely and felt like I was going crazy for ~8 days when the app was misbehaving terribly. 

If I’d seen this announced via some official method, I would have been able to send bug reports under one thread and pointed others having issues to a singular place to give feedback. 

I have notifications on for the channel on purpose. I’d love to see you all use it more so I don’t miss out on important info.

I would argue there should be just a singular place to send bug reports

THEN we don’t have to care about what arch the app is on or trying to be super nice by monitoring threads or all have to be party to Merkle hiring decisions so we can keep tabs on which Eng to tag in our public complaints

How is any of the above scalable

And to boot I make people feel bad when I complain about bugs I know i do. Not great Pichi! 

Wish there was some bot @ bugs or smth I could DM and have team triage
