I went to a bird observatory at a biosolids management plant aka a literal shit factory 

You can walk around the facility’s retention ponds and through the woods nearby 

There were so many birds there it was genuinely staggering

Texas has the most bird species of any state in the U.S, and the plant is situated right on a migration path. I could go every other day for the rest of my time in Texas and still not see it all 

I sent Kasra a different photo — this is just a taste of what I mean by tons of birds. A literal pile of water and shore birds, at least 3-4 different species
