It’s the human/robot equivalent of saying “you too” when told to enjoy your meal by restaurant staff 😂 I’d do the same thing. Little niceties are almost automatic.

Yeah! And also… if AI is trained based on real driving footage/data, or real human communication… shouldn’t we be polite? If we were polite in the dataset? Isn’t tone part of communication, and there’s no telling how exactly an AI would behave with courtesy removed from communicating with them. What little differences that makes to each potential new AI.
