Speculation the only thing outside stables that has PMF in crypto, so when the “OGs” are anti speculation it prevents FC from getting the trenchers, the Pump crowd, etc 

Also people feel that there is no other way to “make it” — that essentially gambling is the only way to get a good quality of life, own your own home, etc and that if you don’t do it you will stay poor

money is just means to an end. most people trading memecoins would probably agree that memecoins are not their “purpose”.

there is nothing wrong with leveraging time efficiently to maximize resources with/on something more important. if the casino were the easiest way for me to make a living i would have leaned into it (alas it is not💸💸)
