Was talking to my u30 neighbor last night and found out It Happened To Him Took a picture of his portable ECG; the dedicated app on this was very well done

At least in my neighbors case there were additional confounders. he was dealing with high stress, no sleep, AND consuming ungodly amounts of caffeine; developed arrhythmia which has since gone away (it seems) but he still carries the device

those additional confounders are not that uncommon😅😅😅😅 tht reminds me last year my dad stopped at my house and asked if he could have some of “my drinks” days before he had open heart surgery (“my drinks” were celsius)

No it’s not uncommon at all which is probably why Dr Omar observes it with some regularity. I think it’s easy to forget caffeine is a stimulant ….

also easy to lose touch of exactly how much caffeine is in things and what a historically “normal” intake is lol
