There is non. That gadgets are addictive, extractive and net negative has always been the sentiment. Radios and TVs were seen as harmful and I bet if you look for sentiment data towards books after the printing press was invented you’d find the same thing.

Tucker says in the clip tech people always gotta be lecturing you about how great it is and how you should be so grateful; surprised it took me so long to get this comment. You forgot the little bit where “this is the best time in human history to be alive” 🙄 😂

yes. friends and i call it "no screen money". still think you can get there without five $ but two-three $ and being very very deliberate.

absolutely. the introduction of screens to the face, imo, took it a step function above anything prior. on some dimension, it's as if we took the power of the sun (light) and enabled capitalism to hijack our physiology. 

the only silver lining is that you do have the option to take control and make it a net positive. hard but it's there.
