I started growing sweet potatoes because their roots help with water quality, but after just two days… it turned into this 🤣 Now it’s a full-on jungle 😂 The guppy fry love playing among the sweet potato roots :) Happy Sunday 💕

Sweet potato roots grow by absorbing harmful stuff like nitrates, ammonia, and nitrites that are bad for fish! It’s basically like a mini natural filter :) That’s why sweet potatoes grow so fast in aquariums—those harmful substances are actually nutrients for the plant! It only took about 9 days to grow it like this 😂
