Day 2

I challenged myself: no laptop, no work thoughts. First one was easy, second one harder.

I’ve deleted Mail and discord from my phone. Telegram still pinging as it’s a mix of friends and work.

I’m reading In Ascension again. On the surface it’s about space exploration. But deeper it’s about contact and communication. Coming to the end of it and I know already what book I’ll pick up afterwards.

Tomorrow is an average parent day: graduation ceremony for kid#3 and dentist and doctor appointments

Day 3 - Felt good

Graduation ceremony followe by reading on the beach. Finished the book and then fell asleep. 

I was surprised that I napped at 11am. Didn’t realise I was that tired. I wrote a stern letter to myself asking the hard questions.

I’m feeling “checked out” but also ready to explore.
