a vc requested a deck from me 4 times. i donβt want a deck in rotation (iβm paranoid). told him iβm writing a memo. he doubled down on the deck lol. Iβm almost done bro. i was just trying to gatekeep π

Make sure to burn recipients names onto the footer of each slide, so when/if it does circulate, it's clear who leaked. Hopefully that deters.

It's nice, because it can be dressed up as a sign of attentive respect: "Prepared on 26 July 2025 for <Marc> and <Ben>. Commercial in confidence, not for distribution."
