If you’re following any party or ideology or defending any political leader, this post is for you - Stop fighting like unpaid bodyguards of politicians. Their kids are partying in New York while you shout slogans on dusty Indian roads.
I’ve watched people lose friends, time, peace and opportunities arguing, defending politicians and parties. Poor and middle-class people run around with party flags, get into fights, abuse strangers online, break relationships over religion, left-right, nationalism, ideology, pride, sacrifice - Irony is the leaders don’t even know you exist. Their kids aren’t in rallies, standing in heat or rain shouting slogans on dusty Indian roads.
Their kids are in Singapore, London, Dubai, LA Studying in Ivy League universities, partying at upscale bars, flying business class, getting healthcare in London, living a life 100 times better than the people defending them.
Most of them aren’t even Indian citizens!
Harsh reality is they and their children never use public hospitals or public schools.
And if you observe Parliament closely you’ll laugh. Inside they’re friends. They eat together laugh together share business interests. The fights are only for TV and the hatred is just a script.
Party change, script reverse!
But here’s the stupid irony- These same politicians come on stage screaming Nation First, Deshbhakti - One question destroys the entire drama - Why don’t 99.9 percent of politician’s kids join the army? while their own kids are eating sushi overlooking Manhattan?
What do they gain in return for blind loyalty? Nothing So you’re the one being used!
