does anyone else just like…not feel good about their real name lol

i know most of you don’t know the name my parents gave me. it’s a nice name in theory but it’s too long and usually pronounced in a weird way that makes me recoil. and most of the shorted versions people use i also dislike. i would almost compare this to some kind of dysmorphia if i may be so bold. 

i just like my pseudonym more even if it’s weird 😐 at least i picked it myself and it’s pronounceable

You know Tiny, I don't like the short name that family got me. My name if Katherine, and all said me "Kathy". In my university era, want change my short name cuz don't like it anymore and put myself "Katho", was a new and fresh version of me. When I traveled to see my family some of my sisters refused to use my name mad still name me Kathy. Hate that, even the husband of one of them makes me cry on Christmas for criticism my name. I took it apart. Today fight a lot for been calling Katho. So I understand that feeling...
