A student is researching workplace abuse. Difficult to guide as she's experienced it (she's +40y). One of the learnings is that's heard to pinpoint (& it's not illegal to be a jerk). If you can't pinpoint it = ppl don't speak up. A list of stuff that your boss/peer shouldn't do. Plz add - yell - throw objects at you

They make you feel that you can be fired any day. And maintain that sense of insecurity in you. Blaming you for things you’re not responsible for. Asking if you’ve done something that was wasn’t your responsibility and expressing “disappointment” that you didn’t. Totally legal. Totally toxic.
