When you try a new app that needs transacting, do you prefer: 1. Embedded wallets (privy) 2. Connect your own wallet 3. You don’t use crypto apps 4. Other (please comment)

Prefer being able to use one wallet for everything, I understand the privy thing but example in the case if Zora would like to have custody of my own wallet and Zora privy is not exportable

I prefer embedded wallets. Particularly because once I’m done with Wally Writer testing I’ll be able to just move anything I get (and want) into my main wallet automatically.

Connect my own wallet 10000%. Multiple options is nice (Privy helps people who may not be very crypto centric like say have a twitter or farcaster account). But I like my own wallet almost always. I connect with farcaster (privy) sparingly though

I think connect my own wallet is a magical experience. When i click a button and the website knows who i am without any additional setup. Just a really great feeling. Having to deal with another wallet set up for me that i have to fund is just annoying and not really a change from web 2.

1. Embedded wallet Works good for me, so I can keep my own wallet clean (and safer?) using it only for transfers. It’s also easier to keep track of what I spend/earn for each app/service

In case this on farcaster. I'll use the option 1. In other apps. I'll always use new generate wallet from rabby. So far my own wallet is on trezor. Only use for send and received from exchange

For most cases, #2. Only in specific cases does #1 make sense: 1. Users don't have a crypto wallet. Social-create with privy is good 2. Need to have full ownership of transaction confirmation flow (i.e. to abstract it away) I'd also argue there are more options, these aren't the only two!
