if you follow edlc, you might think that his breakout season was last year where he was in the 88th percentile for batting run value. it's pretty hard to breakout from being the in 88th percentile. and if you look at his current 2025 stats, it looks like he's significantly regressed in all major "value" categories. if anything, the changes he made this year caused his value to regress, right? we'll answer this question at the end of the thread.

Elly is a dude! My sons and I are going on a road trip to Cincy to watch the Reds and Padres play, but for as much as we love the Padres, all three of us are excited to watch Elly live for the first time.
