Perspectives are interesting I’m often fascinated by how different people with different backgrounds will take the same event that takes place and see it and interpret through a different lens. The lens is an accumulation who you are (nature) but also a sediment of what you’ve experienced and who you’ve become over time (both positive experiences and also often trauma)

This gets increasingly complicated when you think that what you’re saying is something that you came up with but rather you are echoing what has been said I’d say ideas and any information fundamentally is really going to have noise the more it gets transmitted as per Shannon‘s information theory I guess that’s why social media is kind of complicated and often an The echo chamber because you’re playing a game of telephone but emotionally and informationally

Definitely, I feel the same — perspective is shaped by so much more than we realize, and even the "truth" gets filtered through layers of bias and experience. Still, taking a stand, even if imperfect, feels more honest than staying neutral and lost.

Insightful. On a related tangent, I find it empowering and surreal to see my own opinions echoed in those I consistently interact with. Then I think… whose thoughts am I unwittingly repeating? That realization has given me further reason to hold myself to a higher standard to positively impact others.

People often have different version of the same stories. History is warped.

Beautifully said. Two people can live the same moment and walk away with completely different truths
