Maybe true maybe not : emotion, or having emotion, holding a feeling — generally single threaded- whatever emotion you hold generally, it occupies a single slot and you have it. You can only have one at a time. Hard to have two emotions at once, there’s mixtures or concoctions but I’m having trouble recalling feeling two in parallel 

I also have a sense it’s like a buoy it sort of bobs up and down, it’s visible (from the conscious side) but also controlled by invisible forces to you (invisibly unconscious)

feels very counter-intuitive to me

I feel like I feel all the emotions at the same time like a spectrum, some might take more -higher- bandwidth or whatever, but they're all latent and expressed at different frequencies, and levels.

idk tho, im very disconnected from emotions so thus why I maybe feel them from afar instead of intensely separated

hmm. there are also versatile emotions that hold a certain tension of opposites, say bittersweetness? and i've observed siblings playing and expressing a co-mingled sort of love/hate toward one another...
