my girlfriend and I have been reflecting:

if we could do anything at all in this moment, and live any kind of life, and we could really choose anything - we would be doing exactly what we're doing right now. 

The obvious part for me is being honest with what I want and aiming at it. I also think that the compliment to that is letting go and submerging fully to what life is serving me, and so naturally finding the satisfaction in it.

I feel like he *does* get the point as he starts his list with "I love putting in the work, I love being able to practice". he's aiming at the thing itself, not its result.
