Gm erica,,I’m sorry to hear about what you went through Would you mind sharing what you did? I also used a moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid, and a few spots on my face got irritated Before that, I was only using a tea tree oil foam cleanser and an aloevera hydrator This new product is what I’ve just started using

i'm no expert - the main symptom of fungal acne compared to normal acne is that it itches, that was the main way i was able to tell what was going on! i think it was the following that made a good environment for the fungal acne to grow: > switched from cleansing 1x per day with cetaphil to 2x per day with cerave (i think i damaged my moisture barrier here) > added in a double cleanse at night with castor oil + squalane (both known to feed yeast) > added in a moisturizing rice toner (once again known to feed yeast) > added in snail mucin (again, known to feed yeast) this was all over ~3 months
