Why Priority mode matters

LLMs make it easy to create more sophisticated spam. Look at the example below. It will only get worse. Programmatic DDoS of attention at scale.

Priority mode by default ensures that only users you follow or with a globally recognized relevance, i.e. Power Badge, will break through.

I think it's good that it's an option,  I have it set back to the old all tab and I find it way easier on the eyes and I haven't gotten many AI spammy replies.  

Hopefully it's a priority to get rid of / filter out bot accounts and not real users but I understand it isn't an easy task
