Just watched a german party convention where 580 people voted in their new boss, new gremiums, local leaders and some guidelines about future programmatic direction. The party has 70.000 more or less active members and got 1.6 million votes (3.3%) in the last big election.

This just shows that we've been delusional to expect more than a few hundred people to engage in DeFi/DAO governance - except from a few highly idealistic, intrinsically motivated, financially motivated people; especially as some wanted token holders to govern every small change instead of voting in/out teams & budgets for a certain time period.
