do we think that someone who doesn't know how to use a wallet will feel comfortable sending crypto from an exchange to an embedded wallet? or funding it with a credit or debit card? do we have any data supporting this assumption?

People pay with apple pay for random apps/games. I think it's fair to assume they'll be able to download an app, buy something with Fiat or send crypto from an existing exchange/wallet (note: some apps have no tx fees). Think there's a bit of unnecessary barrier built up towards onboarding normies. In 2018 everyone did meetups and tried to onboard "normies" with really shit wallets & essentially nothing to do - and it still worked to some degree, just didn't last. "Normies" aren't stupid. They can click on download, buy, & figure out how to use apps - in fact, many do it better than I & many other crypto bros will ever do because we don't do new apps, tiktok etc. > IMHO crypto wallets got easy enough to onboard people (though there are risks they'll lose money) & apps with embedded wallet should be even easier. Obv crypto terminology can be confusing & a barrier to get an app.
