I'm down to logging in only once a day to warpcast and when I do I see posts from the same 10 people about the weekly flavor of coins, some higher & degen content, and random stuff I have 0 interest for (prob from the same people). I follow many potentially interesting channels but even when I scroll the channels, content seems low now, and certainly not worth searching for. @super shows me content from more accounts - but requires me to unfollow many more people due to content I don't care about.. maybe I'm bored from seeing the same 10 people's content; or sad that the product got worse in the last 6 months; or disillusioned that no one cares about growth (except token holders). There were phases this year where I onboarded friends & wanted communities to join. right now this isn't a product for more crypto people, or outsiders, or generally one I'd recommend. maybe a $1B token changes it again - but likely I wouldn't see content from new joiners but same bubble. I had more arguments 11 months ago.

Has nobody posted in /consumercrypto or /data today? only 3 people in /ethereum and 10 in /founders? or am I just not seeing the content? The /higher channel remains the one thing I like - though the signal to noise ratio got worse too with aether & other things. obv channels like /degen & /airstack are more frequented by farmers but not worth watching either.

I care about growth, and I always enjoy seeing your posts in my feed juli. even if you simply log in to post a critical post like this I hope you keep it up

I think in general the algo still over weights stuff which is getting wide engagement from folks which might not be your cup of tea. I might suggest leaning in on the content you enjoy. Quite casting and trying to get more conversations you enjoy started. fwiw I assume devcon energy will steal some of the more interesting casting energy this week. Also pick a hobby topic to pump here as well. For me it’s the photography artists, when their art comes through the feed it brightens the day.

I feel the same. Took a month off and came back to a feed full of token and socialfi spam. When I arrived early in the year, many of my favorite artists were here, now most of them have gone back to x. The x algo has definitely been refined and I'm afraid Farcaster will be relegated to a second tier status until it is ready to start racing to the bottom of the brainstem like it's top competition.

Followed. Interested in how we could build up better content as well. Thought AI could be an unlock, but still needs way more training imo.

Warpcast went the way of every failed or failing social platform. It made new user experience very unenjoyable.

I spent an afternoon digging into an interesting topic (phishing contract numbers), and writing it up on /data a few days ago and it got barely any engagement or encouragement. This happens to me a lot on /data, and it's why it's been a while since I casted in there. People say they want interesting data but in reality hardly anybody seems to want to nurture that here. So I went back to writing about the mainstream stuff that does interest people - I've got bills to pay, what can I say 🤷♂️ https://warpcast.com/rjs/0x6cad1ca7
