The main $eth mistake in the past 2 years was not onboarding a Saylor light.

The playbook was easy to copy. There are many businesses on/around Ethereum that could have done it (without going completely nuts). Crypto would look very different today.

Because they believe in eth (and ethereum) like millions of other people.

I could now list many reasons why eth is like bitcoin but better (there's also reasons why it's worse) and why the invest would have at least some fundamental backing (incl derisking/leveraging eth businesses building on ethereum - from whichever side you look at it) but that's a conversation for another day :)

That’s a lot of risk for the mini saylor.

Also “bitcoin” didn’t onboard saylor, saylor found bitcoin and believed it so hard, he was willing to bet his entire company on it. 

Why would anyone do that for eth?

If Ethereum had followed a playbook like Saylor's, the ecosystem might be in a very different, stronger place today.
