I actually kind of agree with you for Rodeo and for Zora but I wonder if the financial incentives being at the forefront changes the way these apps are perceived. In spite of the fact that supporting artists financially and moving to alternative models beyond the ad-revenue driven, “attention economy” of the past, I think what people see here is a skin over an NFT marketplace rather than a new paradigm for a social app. Not saying they’re right, but I have to assume that’s the issue; if they’re even aware of these apps at all. In other words, before being included in lists of open-social instragram alternatives, these have to fight either: 1. To be recognized as part of this paradigm 2. To redefine the paradigms being discussed
