When I was a child, my family went to a work event. They had a "win this jar of Tootsie rolls by guessing how many are in it" contest. My child brain drove me to an inexplicable guess: "One!"

The person at the table gave me a weird look, but took down my guess. I ended up winning because I was the closest without going over. 

I hate Tootsie rolls. Still got the jar, though.
