This last weekend, I went on a float trip. Four hours in, a thunderstorm moved in and we had to hard paddle for the remaining three miles in a downpour. We left our tent windows open, so all our stuff was soaked with rain. We ended up having to abandon our campfire dinner plans and grab dinner at a local Chinese buffet. Then we had to wake up at 4am and haul ass to pack up our campsite in the rain to avoid being caught in an even worse storm, hitting the road by 6am.

It was great, and I can't wait to go floating again next year.
