I think we are grossly underestimating the impact of remote work going mainstream on a 10 year time horizon Remote work -> conferences + IRL gatherings -> co-living experiments -> pop-up cities -> network states?

That's a good point. Anything that reduces barriers to IRL gatherings could accelerate this trend. RW might even be more impactful over the next 10 yrs than something like cheaper/faster transport, as it isn't dependent on future innovations.

I am nomading since 2018 and can def say few places in the world creating the heaven for remote workers to come there for few months. It’s never has been better for “employees” to have the work-life balance setup. Also solopreneurs and freelancing are the trend gonna drive it more
