that's the core crux of life imho. quiet the mind, open the heart. quiet the mind, open the heart

so the answer is: because it is insanely hard. the mind is loud because everything that you have experienced in your life gives strength to it as a construct that self perpetuates itself

what's the practice that helps you integrate that and transform it into a different way of being?

its about consciously deciding to act differently imho. and acknowledging how hard it is. and being patient. and compassionate towards yourself
