so i deployed a smart contract on devnet and it costed me 1.71 SOL. is that reasonable?

im degen enough to pay this on mainnet just to see if it works but want to make sure im not doing something thaaaaat stupid

very helpful. the amount of data this contract stores is extremely minimal (which makes me very proud tbh) so def this could help. Will dive into it

guessing there is a way to reserve less data for your associated account program or something like that

it is like you are reserving space for the max data and you may need less 

(it has been 3 years without developing a solana contract, you better find a second opinion, or ask a llm about the deployWithMazData function and how to optimize costs)

That’s an expensive test deployment. Hope they give refunds when actual contract is live
