washing the dishes is my favorite ritual of the day and when doing it, i watch youtube. some video that captures my attention. yesterday it was an interview with david goggins. i had never consumed content around him, so i said: ill give it a go only listened to 3 minutes of it. didnt like it at all. he was talking about his routine, and saying that the first thing he did every day was to run 13+ miles because that's what he hated the most to do in the world let's repeat that: one of the most renowned gurus of self improvement establishes that his daily routine starts with doing for 2 hours what he hates the most doing in the world what the fuck? is this really what we want to be? i stopped watching because it is not what i want to be. regardless of how optimized his body and relationship to life can be, this is not what i want to follow this is not one of my gurus. i dont resonate with gurus, anyway and, funnily enough, i just woke up from a dream where david goggins died inside me, he did

What really matters is following something that helps us grow. Everyone needs to find their own path, not just copy others blindly.
