I anticipate that Ticketmaster has a lot of contacts with venues that discourage/prevent disruption.

There are a few companies/dapps that have tried, but with little success. Ticketmaster much have agreements in place with venues or something prohibiting them from using other ticket vendors. It does seem like an obvious choice though!

if sports betting can be disrupted through polymarket already why not this, who needs won over

building it is the easy part in this case. getting venues onboard with it would be the larger challenge, courtesy of Live Nation. there is an ongoing antitrust lawsuit against them, fortunately.
